My first animation

i made this in Gifmaker.me it was a picture of Jim Carrey and i animated it it movie his mouth around. Then i saved it into my computer and uploaded it into my blog.

Video editing

I have made this short action movie using Imovie it is a mixture of first person and scenes from an expandable movie which is an action movie staring Arnold,Sylvester and other beasts. I got the trailer version from Youtube and edited it with another clip. It was really fun making this for my arts award. I need to improve the speeds and other adjustments for this. I made this video using Imovie. Firstly I trimmed the clips to a length that I wanted them I did this so I could cut out unwanted parts of the footage and merge them together to make a solid clip, I also added little adjustments like colors and fading, and added audio. The hardware I used was on  MAC

In this this video I used clips from the movies Expandable's 2. And a youtube video called epic first person real life shooter. 

I adjusted the speeds of the footage by slowing it down and speeding it up, this helps people focus on the clip better and speeding it up to make the boring parts go out faster, I also added text to the video which was the title of my little video.

I took away the audio from the clip by detaching it, I then added my own sounds to it.

Trip to BBC Newcastle

We went to BBC in Newcastle and had a little tour of BBC

This is the editing suite for the news show I never went in there because we didn't have time.

     

I enjoyed meeting Collin Briggs and talking to him about working at BBC I also enjoyed seeing the radio stations.It would of been better if we didn't get stuck in traffic so we could actually could of had the full tour. It would be good working for BBC because you would be doing the same thing twice.

Film making

For my arts award I want to make a short horror movie..something like paranormal activity by editing and maybe filming for my end product.

I am going to converting clips using clip converter and then merge them into one big clip using Imovie for basics and then final cut pro
I will make the films in my class. It will be finished in 8 weeks.

Video editing

Between my tasters that I have done for my arts award I have decided that video editing was my favourite, because it was fun doing it,and I would like to improve my video editing skills and would chose it for a possible future career.

Video editing

I used animation in photoshop to make Joan Rivvers nose move up and down and then put it into imovie and edited it by slowing down the clip and speeding it up. Also I added colours to the video. I liked video editing because it was fun to do and i like video editing and I will chose this for my arts award.

What we did for macro shooting

In macro shooting we take close up photos from about 30cm away of mechanical parts, I am interested in taking photos, I would of liked to do this for my arts award but I would like to do video editing.

What I did in digital imaging.

We also tried digit imaging which was also used with photoshop, I picked the photo of captain america and changed it around a bit there is a picture bellow showing how the image before and after the effects.Doing this was really fun.

we tried a bit of animation this was pretty fun making it,i used Joan Rivers and moved her nose down
and up from a image of her, this was done on photoshop it was pretty easy to do, but not something id

like to do for the arts award.

Opening photos in different saved files.

All photos look pretty similar but the gif file has blurry clouds and loses quality opening these photos in different saved files was pretty fun seeing the difference between the quality in the photos.Png file has lighter tones than jpeg. The files can be made by photoshop..and all photos can be saved as .jpg, .gif and png, but not psd

Macro shooting

Today Macro shotted pictures of mechanical items, macro means close up photos that are taken no more than an arms length away....bellow is a slide show of the photographs i have taken in macro.(some pictures may repeat)Doing this was pretty fun!

I used photoshop to change the background of the picture to a firery top background and added a suttle bottom half to make the title stand out.This lesson was pretty fun finding out new ways to use photoshop
